Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Tisserande de Son La (Weaver from Son La) by Léa Lafugie for HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,318.48). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Léa Lafugie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diseur de bonne aventure (The Fortune Teller) in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,229.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tisserande de Son La (Weaver from Son La) von Léa Lafugie für HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.318,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léa Lafugie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diseur de bonne aventure (The Fortune Teller) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.229,35).
