Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Le Mékong (The Mekong) by Léa Lafugie. The price achieved of HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,154.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léa Lafugie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diseur de bonne aventure (The Fortune Teller) in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,229.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Mékong (The Mekong) von Léa Lafugie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.154,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léa Lafugie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diseur de bonne aventure (The Fortune Teller) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.229,35).
