This artwork by Le Van De achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Three Boys sold for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Van De - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mother And Child, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 119,639.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Le Van De erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Three Boys für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Van De mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mother And Child beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 119.639,08) versteigert wurde.
