This artwork by Le Van De achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work La Madonne Vietnamienne Et Son Enfant (Vietnamese Madonna And Her Child) sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,013.62) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Van De - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mother And Child, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 119,639.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Le Van De erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit La Madonne Vietnamienne Et Son Enfant (Vietnamese Madonna And Her Child) für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.013,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 160.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Van De mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mother And Child beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 119.639,08) versteigert wurde.
