The work A Lady of Hue by Le Van De was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,462.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Le Van De; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mother And Child sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 119,639.08).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.462,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Le Van De; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mother And Child im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 119.639,08).
