Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Le Van De achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction, the work Mother And Child sold for HKD 819,000.00 (€ 90,710.91) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Le Van De; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mother And Child sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 119,639.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Le Van De erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Mother And Child für HKD 819.000,00 (€ 90.710,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Le Van De; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mother And Child im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 119.639,08).
