Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Oasis Live at Manchester City Stadium, (date unknown) by Lawrence Watson for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,470.47). This price was achieved in the auction British. Cool. at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Lawrence Watson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2009 by the work Public Enemy, New York at GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,641.56).
