Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Bookman by Lawrence Preece for GBP 984.00 (€ 1,460.21). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art at Sothebys in Olympia and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Lawrence Preece have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2007 by the work Pegwell Bay Today at GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,493.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bookman von Lawrence Preece für GBP 984,00 (€ 1.460,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
