Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Still Life With Fruit Hanging From A Blue Ribbon Tied To A Hook by Laurens Craen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,033.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laurens Craen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With A Lobster On A Pewter Plate, Lemons, Grapes, Apricots, Oysters And A Gold-Mounted Blue And White Porcelain Ewer, All On A Wooden Table Top With A Swallowtail Butterfly in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 506,500.00 (€ 369,303.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Still Life With Fruit Hanging From A Blue Ribbon Tied To A Hook von Laurens Craen kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With A Lobster On A Pewter Plate, Lemons, Grapes, Apricots, Oysters And A Gold-Mounted Blue And White Porcelain Ewer, All On A Wooden Table Top With A Swallowtail Butterfly im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 506.500,00 (€ 369.303,68).
