However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laurens Craen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With A Lobster On A Pewter Plate, Lemons, Grapes, Apricots, Oysters And A Gold-Mounted Blue And White Porcelain Ewer, All On A Wooden Table Top With A Swallowtail Butterfly, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 506,500.00 (€ 369,303.68).
