In September 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California, which included the work Coast Highway, Santa Monica, 2013 by Larry Cohen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,185.02), 62% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Larry Cohen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View From The California Incline, 2006 sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of USD 6,950.00 (€ 6,233.74).

Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coast Highway, Santa Monica, 2013 von Larry Cohen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.185,02) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Larry Cohen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit View From The California Incline, 2006 im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 6.950,00 (€ 6.233,74).
