Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Billy Man Tulsa, 1968 by Larry Clark was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,638.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Clark achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selections from Teenage Lust (1968-75) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 56,400.00 (€ 66,462.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Billy Man Tulsa, 1968 von Larry Clark kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.638,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Clark erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selections from Teenage Lust (1968-75) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.400,00 (€ 66.462,41).
