The work Picking Flowers by Lao Shu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,348.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Other works by Lao Shu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 55,000.00 (€ 6,529.68) in May last year for the work Relaxation Through Painting.
