Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem in Running Script by Lan Ying was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 30,468.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lan Ying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 29,870,000.00 (€ 3,389,239.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem in Running Script von Lan Ying kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 30.468,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lan Ying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 29.870.000,00 (€ 3.389.239,40).
