This artwork by Lan Ying achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape/Calligraphy sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,646.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lan Ying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 29,870,000.00 (€ 3,389,239.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lan Ying erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape/Calligraphy für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.646,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lan Ying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 29.870.000,00 (€ 3.389.239,40).
