A top price for Lam Qua - as previously expected
In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction Topographical Pictures, which included the work The verandah of Nathaniel Kinsman's residence at Macao, looking across the Praya Grande; and Nathaniel Kinsman's residence at Macao, seen from the Praya Grande by Lam Qua. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 73,072.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The verandah of Nathaniel Kinsman's residence at Macao, looking across the Praya Grande; and Nathaniel Kinsman's residence at Macao, seen from the Praya Grande is the most expensive artwork by Lam Qua that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Topographical Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The verandah of Nathaniel Kinsman's residence at Macao, looking across the Praya Grande; and Nathaniel Kinsman's residence at Macao, seen from the Praya Grande von Lam Qua zur Versteigerung kam.
