Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fiery Striad I by Lampo Leong was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,346.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lampo Leong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Supernova 1 in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,093.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fiery Striad I von Lampo Leong kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.346,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lampo Leong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Supernova 1 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.093,61).
