Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Emanation XIX by Lampo Leong. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,709.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Lampo Leong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work Supernova 1 was auctioned for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,093.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Emanation XIX von Lampo Leong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.709,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lampo Leong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2017 die Arbeit Supernova 1 für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.093,61) versteigert.
