Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Emanation XX by Lampo Leong was sold in the Inkprovise - Modern & Contemporary Ink Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 40,120.00 (€ 4,520.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 34,000.00 – 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lampo Leong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Supernova 1, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,093.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Emanation XX von Lampo Leong wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Inkprovise - Modern & Contemporary Ink Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.120,00 (€ 4.520,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 34.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lampo Leong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Supernova 1 beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.093,61) versteigert wurde.
