Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2017 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Converging Territories #16, 2003 by Lalla Essaydi. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,356.76). Admittedly, works by Lalla Essaydi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bullets Revisited #3 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,702.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Converging Territories #16, 2003 von Lalla Essaydi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.356,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lalla Essaydi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bullets Revisited #3 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.702,61).
