Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of János Józsi Tersánszky by Lajos Tihanyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 44,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Other works by Lajos Tihanyi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2019 the work Portrait of Tersánszky Józsi Jeno was auctioned for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,243.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of János Józsi Tersánszky von Lajos Tihanyi kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 44.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lajos Tihanyi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2019 die Arbeit Portrait of Tersánszky Józsi Jeno für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.243,08) versteigert.
