Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script by Lai Chusheng. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 80,240.00 (€ 8,831.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lai Chusheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects And Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,614.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script von Lai Chusheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 80.240,00 (€ 8.831,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lai Chusheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects And Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.614,40).
