Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lai Chusheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Duck sold for HKD 49,560.00 (€ 6,039.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lai Chusheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects And Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,614.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lai Chusheng erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Duck für HKD 49.560,00 (€ 6.039,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lai Chusheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects And Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.614,40).
