This artwork by Lai Chusheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Poly Auction App in May last year. In the The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings auction, the work Loquat sold for HKD 13,200.00 (€ 1,567.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lai Chusheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects And Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,614.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lai Chusheng erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei POLY in Poly Auction App einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Loquat für HKD 13.200,00 (€ 1.567,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lai Chusheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects And Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.614,40).
