Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Dreamers Of Ortachala by Lado Gudiashvili was sold in the Russian Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 240,853.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lado Gudiashvili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By The Black Stream in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,154,596.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Dreamers Of Ortachala von Lado Gudiashvili wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Russian Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 240.853,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lado Gudiashvili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit By The Black Stream im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 937.250,00 (€ 1.154.596,91).
