Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled; And A Companion Work by Laddie John Dill for USD 250.00 (€ 192.93). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laddie John Dill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Death in Venice in December 2019 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,577.18).
