Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples, which included the work Egg III by Kyohei Inukai. The price achieved of USD 510.00 (€ 421.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kyohei Inukai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Dorothy Hampton in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 4,700.00 (€ 4,924.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egg III von Kyohei Inukai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 510,00 (€ 421,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kyohei Inukai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Dorothy Hampton im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.700,00 (€ 4.924,04).
