Artwork auctioned at eight times the upper estimate price
The work Thrust by Kyle Morris was worth EUR 52,920.00 to a buyer in April last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kyle Morris; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pendant sold at auction in July this year with the realized price of USD 76,700.00 (€ 69,600.73).

Die Arbeit Thrust von Kyle Morris war einem Käufer im April letzten Jahres EUR 52.920,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kyle Morris; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pendant im Juli diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 76.700,00 (€ 69.600,73).
