Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included this untitled work by Kyle Morris. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,358.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kyle Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pendant in July this year with an auction result of USD 76,700.00 (€ 69,600.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kyle Morris zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.358,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kyle Morris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pendant im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.700,00 (€ 69.600,73).
