The work Temples Among Autumn Mountains by Kun Can was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. The auction ended at the price of USD 150,000.00 (€ 139,651.80), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kun Can - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sleeping On The Rock, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 5,290,000.00 (€ 544,620.91).

Die Arbeit Temples Among Autumn Mountains von Kun Can wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 139.651,80) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kun Can mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sleeping On The Rock beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 5.290.000,00 (€ 544.620,91) versteigert wurde.
