Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Strolling Across The Stream by Kun Can for HKD 146,875.00 (€ 20,937.81). This price was achieved in the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kun Can achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sleeping On The Rock in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,290,000.00 (€ 544,620.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Strolling Across The Stream von Kun Can für HKD 146.875,00 (€ 20.937,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kun Can erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sleeping On The Rock im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.290.000,00 (€ 544.620,91).
