Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Guan Tong by Kun Can was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The price achieved of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 88,885.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kun Can have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sleeping On The Rock in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,290,000.00 (€ 544,620.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Guan Tong von Kun Can kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 88.885,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kun Can auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sleeping On The Rock im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.290.000,00 (€ 544.620,91).
