It achieved a price of GBP 81,500.00 (€ 95,741.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Admittedly, works by Kudzanai-Violet Hwami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Skye Wanehanda (I) in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 404,708.23).

Die Arbeit Adam and Steve joined by the knee, a study von Kudzanai-Violet Hwami kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 81.500,00 (€ 95.741,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kudzanai-Violet Hwami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Skye Wanehanda (I) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 404.708,23).
