Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Walking On Earth by Ku Fu-Sheng was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,275.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ku Fu-Sheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960) in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Walking On Earth von Ku Fu-Sheng wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.275,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ku Fu-Sheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28).
