Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ku Fu-Sheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Modern Asian Art auction, the work Alone sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,211.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ku Fu-Sheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960), which sold at auction in March 2019 for HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ku Fu-Sheng erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Alone für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.211,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ku Fu-Sheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) beobachtet, die im März 2019 für HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28) versteigert wurde.
