Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Three works: (i) Minum #57; (ii) Minum #83; (iii) Minum #90 by Kristin Baker. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,033.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kristin Baker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Washzert Suisse in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 186,395.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three works: (i) Minum #57; (ii) Minum #83; (iii) Minum #90 von Kristin Baker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.033,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kristin Baker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Washzert Suisse im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 186.395,08).
