The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,644.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,751.00).
