Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Winter by Konstantin Kryzhitsky. The price achieved of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 140,996.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Kryzhitsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 289,250.00 (€ 339,425.18).
