Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ice-Cutting by Konstantin Kryzhitsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,730.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Kryzhitsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 339,425.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ice-Cutting von Konstantin Kryzhitsky wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.730,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Kryzhitsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 339.425,18).
