Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of Pskov Showing the Trinity Cathedral by Konstantin Gorbatov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 118,348.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Gorbatov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Invisible City Of Kitezh in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 611,761.48).

Die Arbeit View of Pskov Showing the Trinity Cathedral von Konstantin Gorbatov wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 118.348,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
