Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jerusalem by Konstantin Gorbatov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,960.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Gorbatov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Invisible City Of Kitezh in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 611,761.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jerusalem von Konstantin Gorbatov wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 101.960,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Gorbatov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Invisible City Of Kitezh im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 525.000,00 (€ 611.761,48).
