Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Clouds over a Lake by Konstantin Gorbatov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,422.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Gorbatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Invisible City Of Kitezh in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 611,761.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Clouds over a Lake von Konstantin Gorbatov wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.422,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Gorbatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Invisible City Of Kitezh im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 525.000,00 (€ 611.761,48).
