Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work View Of Jerusalem by Konstantin Gorbatov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 81,250.00 (€ 91,826.35), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Gorbatov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Invisible City Of Kitezh in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 611,761.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit View Of Jerusalem von Konstantin Gorbatov wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 91.826,35) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Gorbatov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Invisible City Of Kitezh im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 525.000,00 (€ 611.761,48).
