The work Autumn on the islands by Konstantin Gorbatov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,705.50), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Gorbatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Invisible City Of Kitezh in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 611,761.48).

Die Arbeit Autumn on the islands von Konstantin Gorbatov wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.705,50) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Gorbatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Invisible City Of Kitezh im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 525.000,00 (€ 611.761,48).
