Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Konstantin Korovin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2020. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Portrait of the Ballerina Vera Trefilova sold for GBP 547,400.00 (€ 611,494.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Korovin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View From The Terrace, Gurzuf, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 1,497,250.00 (€ 1,892,574.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantin Korovin erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Portrait of the Ballerina Vera Trefilova für GBP 547.400,00 (€ 611.494,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Korovin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View From The Terrace, Gurzuf beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 1.497.250,00 (€ 1.892.574,20) versteigert wurde.
