Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Original Watercolour Accompanying the 1900 Exposition Universelle Gala Dinner Menu by Konstantin Korovin. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,698.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Korovin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View From The Terrace, Gurzuf in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,497,250.00 (€ 1,892,574.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Original Watercolour Accompanying the 1900 Exposition Universelle Gala Dinner Menu von Konstantin Korovin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.698,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Korovin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View From The Terrace, Gurzuf im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.497.250,00 (€ 1.892.574,20).
