A top price for Kojiro Matsumoto - as previously expected
This work without title by Kojiro Matsumoto was sold in the NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 20,160.00 (€ 20,587.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Kojiro Matsumoto that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kojiro Matsumoto wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 20.160,00 (€ 20.587,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kojiro Matsumoto, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
