Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kojiro Matsumoto could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Asia auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,490.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kojiro Matsumoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 20,160.00 (€ 20,587.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kojiro Matsumoto konnte im März 2021 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.490,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kojiro Matsumoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 20.160,00 (€ 20.587,30).
