Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Velvet-Rai ® by Kohei Nawa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2020. The price achieved of HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,438.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 28,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kohei Nawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work PixCell-Jackalope #5 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Velvet-Rai ® von Kohei Nawa kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.438,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 28.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kohei Nawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit PixCell-Jackalope #5 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
