Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in association with Phillips, which included the work PixCell-Deer #40 by Kohei Nawa. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 328,484.81). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kohei Nawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work PixCell-Jackalope #5, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in association with Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit PixCell-Deer #40 von Kohei Nawa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 328.484,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kohei Nawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit PixCell-Jackalope #5 beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83) versteigert wurde.
